The Tensid Story

Tensid Communication Services was established in September 2003 as a division from Tensid AG, which was set up in 2000.
As the market leading distributor of business news, we have developed and established marCo® - short of Market Communication Office® - as the standard communication solution in the swiss electronic distribution market over the last few years.

 

The founding team

Konrad Baechler
Chief Executive Officer of Tensid AG. While studying at the University of Zurich, he worked at the Swiss Stock Exchange gathering experience. After his graduation, he worked for one of the most significant Swiss software companies as banking-software developer and designer. As of 1999 he was leader of the establishment of a Norwegian internet company and developed the market for the investor relations news distribution in Switzerland.

Carolyn Baechler-Schenk
Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Tensid AG. Since 1997, she is working within the field of application-consulting for banks and financial services. She has lead and designed accounting projects for prestigious clients of various industries. In 2003, she acquired the "FH Diploma in Corporate Finances" as a fully qualified business economist.

Cyrill Schneider
Originally responsible for the Tensid Communication Services' technology. He gained experience as software designer and creative director while working for various Swiss IT-companies. In 1998, he founded a small internet company, which he later sold to a competitor from Basel.
