Rodolfo Straub, head of the SIX Exchange Regulation: "Self-regulation remains as relevant as ever"

The SIX Group strengthened in early 2009 the self-regulation and the independence of the self-regulatory bodies of the SIX Swiss Exchange, SWX Europe and Scoach Switzerland and Eurex Zurich. This means that the separation of regulatory functions and the operating business has been performed.The rule are issued by the listing authority, which will in future be the Regulatory Board of SIX Exchange. This is the newly structured unit for the issuer regulation and monitoring of trade. The enforcement of the rules still remains by the the Sanctions Commission, the Appeals Board and the Board of Arbitration.
